WETA 300 Passenger Vessel Construction Project Networking List

Networking List in Anticipation of WETA’s 300 Passenger Vessel Construction Project

The San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) is preparing to release a Request For Proposals (RFP) for the construction of one (1) passenger-only 46 CFR subchapter K ferry vessel in the fall/winter of FY19/20. The project will be funded in part with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds and will include a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) project goal.

The 300 Passenger Vessel Construction Project Networking List is being provided as a forum for potential prime contractors and subcontractors to network in advance of the release of the RFP, and to assist prime contractors to attain DBE participation to meet the proposed DBE project goal. Additionally, WETA strongly encourages the participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBE).
